My third graders have been practicing mindful meditation and breathing techniques using the calm app. We all feel a greater sense of calm, peace and ability to tackle hard learning tasks after focusing on ways to de-stress.
Help us be able to improve our mindfulness practices by having comfortable places to rest and meditate in the classroom. These yoga blocks and seat cushions will support our students ability to rest, meditate, breathe and then refocus on their learning.
These tools will encourage students to look within first and notice how a sense of calm and peace improves their abilities to be better friends and classmates.
