Hope School is dedicated to educating junior high, senior high and adult transition age students with moderate/severe disabilities. These disabilities include but are not limited to Autism, Down Syndrome, hearing and/or visual impairments and orthopedic impairments. Our students receive a traditional education in a non-traditional format. It is the mission of our school to provide traditional, practical and functional classes and experiences for our students. All curriculum is modified to meet each students unique needs. Hope School provides Math, Science, English Language Arts, Daily Living Skills, Computers, Library, Food Preparation, Gardening, Custodial, Career Preparation, Job Skills Training, Work Experience and a full fine arts program with Music, Drama, Dance, Graphic and Visual Art. We have a student government, a school paper and yearbook, a Homecoming, a Prom and a cheerleading squad. Everything a traditional school provides is provided at Hope School, just modified.
