This grant will empower my students to take on sophisticated mathematics and make mathematical connections with the real world. Graphing calculators help students in visualizing mathematics through graphs, geometry, algebra, and tables. Graphing calculators will open up the possibilities of bringing in more interactive and exploratory learning for my students. The calculators will be used by student of all my classes and across multiple content levels to support the mathematics in the class. Technology is intertwined everywhere in our world and it should be part of the classroom experience. In a school where not all can afford graphing calculators, this will make a difference!
