My students attend a Title I school that is located in a low-socio economic neighborhood. Our school has been negatively impacted by budget cuts and has survived with school supplies donated by a religious organization. Asking for supplemental materials is a luxury that we can not have. Since Spanish is not a core subject, we are not even offered an opportunity to order materials to engage students in learning.
