I work with 36 four and five year olds who have outdoor time with NO equipment to play with. They expend their energy by running around the yard or standing in line waiting to climb on the one climbing toy on the yard.
These children come from lower income families with limited funds to buy children their own bicycles, sports equipment, etc. The children rely on the materials at school to get their physical fitness and unfortunately our school has limited material available to use.
