My responsibility as a Physical Education Teacher is to arm my students with information which will keep them healthy for the rest of their lives! Children in my school range from Kindergarten to 6th grade and healthy activity habits are very important since my students come from economically disadvantaged homes. Many of the students are overweight and do not engage in physical activities after school, which may be too costly for them to afford. The information that I provide them may be the only thing that they hear about how good health will affect them in the future.
