Our district has supported our students with individualized learning through the use of computer based programs like Lexia - Core 5, i-ready math, Reflex math fact practice and Reading Street. I feel like my students would be more successful if they had a quality pair of headphones that allow them to hear those individualized instructions. Not only are the instructions based on where the students perform academically, these same instructions can be heard in the students home language. This is great for our English Language Learners. Now instructions can be heard in their native language, and then the student can perform the task in English. Students can also use programs like Code.org where they are creating projects. There is an auditory component to this program so students can listen to their project.
