My fourth graders are inquisitive and eager learners. They enjoy writing about a broad range of topics. With that said, we need heavy duty pencil sharpeners that will last for an entire school year. My students attend a school in a low income neighborhood in California. Due to budget cuts, there aren't enough funds to replace our inefficient sharpener.
