The students in my first grade classroom along with my future students would appreciate a laminator. The kids have such a big smile when they see their work laminated. It will also help the games I created for my centers to last longer. This will allow more students access to reviewing and practicing their learning while having fun.
My students would greatly benefit from having iPads in our room everyday. Right now, we share iPads with the whole school and my students get 50 minutes a week. We use that time to learn keyboarding skills, take our reading tests, practice our math and reading skills, and do research. There's so much we could do, but we don't have enough access. I would love my students to have more time with the iPads to do the things we already are doing and I want to use them to enhance the school experience. For example, I plan to use the iPads to video classroom presentations for parents to have access to. I also want my students to create online presentations to share their knowledge with others. I want to give my students opportunities to use technology in ways that will be helpful to them in their future.
