My students attend school in South Central Los Angeles and exhibit 'excellence' or the capacity for excellence far beyond that of their chronological peers and have been accepted into the Magnet Program. Additionally, 95 percent or more of the students attending our school qualify for a free or reduced lunch. Therefore, poverty is also an issue that we face. Nonetheless, they are eager to learn new things and are intrigued by technology.
