My students are all inner-city students coming mainly from low-income families, but they are very motivated, have a drive to succeed and understand that improving their lives can only be done through hard work. They respond very well to my challenges, and I want to make their learning experience as good as possible. That is why I'll go out of my way to organize challenging activities. I also know that their chances of being exposed to materials like the ones I provide are very low, which is why I want to do my best to provide them with that experience.
