Our school has many students from low socioeconomic homes, English Language Learners & students with special needs. My students are eager to learn. However, each student learns at a different pace. Some need reinforcement of skills taught while others need to be challenged. Our pacing plan does not allow enough time for students to master skills. The listening center will allow students time to practice or provide enrichment activities while I work with students during small group instruction.
