My students are very talented and love to use their creative skills to bring stories to life when they are retelling and acting out stories. They have been using Popsicle sticks to create puppets and flip books to dramatize characters while developing their oral language and knowledge of literary elements. My students are extremely active and need to be engaged in various learning modalities using sensory stimulating props. Telling stories using props will nurture their kinesthetic, linguistic, visual and spatial learning modalities.
