I am the Technology Coordinator at a Title I city school in North Carolina. We are a K-5 elementary school. There are approximately 650 students who attend the school. Close to 61% of our students receive free or reduced lunch.
One goal on our School Improvement Plan is to expose our students to more STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) programs and increase their overall knowledge of scientific concepts. As the Technology Coordinator, I would like to create a club that focuses on robotics and coding and incorporates all aspects of an effective STEM program. We would call the club "Invent Tomorrow".
