My students are first generation college students that are dually enrolled in college and high school courses. We are in a rural area, with a low socioeconomic status. My students struggle in literacy, reading comprehension, math and science skills; however, we work hard everyday to improve. My students thrive from hands-on learning, and benefit from a real world application of knowledge. My students and I like to try new things, learn from our mistakes and grow from our experiences.
