The students I teach are some of the toughest, bravest, most entertaining and intelligent people in the world. Our school is in a diverse urban area and we have students of many different backgrounds. Our students are ballet dancers, parents, caregivers, artists, coders, surfers, and scholars. Over half of our students receive free lunch. We are a public High School school and we work to promote literacy from the time the kids get to school until they leave us for college and beyond. We are all looking for more books, more experiences, more information, and the next big thing!
