My students attend a high poverty middle school in the urban Los Angeles area. Many of my students have no access to technology outside of the classroom. It is vital that they have the opportunity to learn to interact with and properly work with technology so that they have the skills that can help them to get a decent job when they are older. Without these technological skills my students will not be able to compete for the higher paying positions they will need to give them the opportunities they need to succeed.
