I have a combination kinder and 1st grade classroom. They are a similar age group but range in learning levels. My students come from different socio-economic backgrounds. About half of my class is having trouble relating to math. They are eager learners who can't wait to use hands-on manipulatives. The centers are a great way for them to learn because many of my students don't have access at home.
