I work in an economically challenged school in North Carolina. Most of my students only get to use whatever technology we have at school. I do not have a camera or laptops for my children to use on a regular basis. My students need this to be on target for the 21st century. My students are eager to use technology and share their ideas with each other. They love learning and using technology. Now is the time to teach them how technology can help them with their ideas. Some of my students are EC and need the technology to help them write. Writing with pencils is difficult for some of them and typing may make it easier for them to share their thoughts.
