My classroom is composed of gifted and advanced students. They are an amazing group of children, with so much desire to learn. They have intrinsic motivation which is necessary for learning, but many lack the resources at home to expand their knowledge. Many of them come from low socioeconomic families, dealing with financial hardships
Our school is a Title 1 school with limited resources. We have two laptops for over 50 teachers to use, making access to them almost next to impossible. We also don't have DVD players in the classrooms, so we can't use any of the electronic materials that come with our academic programs.
