I work in an area where 100% of my students receive a free school lunch. This means they live in poverty, and most of my students lack the basic school supplies that many take for granted. On a daily basis my students come to school without paper, pencils, or a backpack. Most of them eat 3 meals at school, which we provide, and these are their only meals.
