Compton Ave. is a small school in South Los Angeles, CA where the poverty level is extremely high. All of the students receive free lunch because of their socio-economic level. Many of my students come from single family homes with parents who work extremely hard to give their child the best possible life. Our school is a hidden jewel in one of the toughest areas of Los Angeles. It is a place where teachers, parents, and the community work together to make school a fun learning environment. Inside this school you will find Room 6 and this is the place where "Magic Happens." Focus, teamwork, and motivation is what I try to use to inspire my students to get better every single day.
