My students are Kindergarteners that are hungry for knowledge gained in technology. They are all English Language Learners that come from low income homes. Most of the students come from a non-English speaking environment. Their only access to a computer is at the local library. Our school is a public school located near downtown Los Angeles, California. ALL of our students qualifies for free meal program. We are a Title I school as well as a Performance Improvement school. Many of my students are struggling to learn and understand the English language. To ease the struggle, the Samsung Galaxy Tablet will help and motivate our English Learners to increase reading fluency.
