This project will help me teach on a more interactive level. The whiteboard stand and small group stand are great teaching tools. I can show students how writing and literacy go hand in hand. Students can write words on their boards and I can write them on the stands. We can erase and change words or add to the words and make sentences. This helps our class be more environmentally friendly as well. In addition the small group stand and display trays will create more engaging small group lessons. I can focus on phonics misconceptions and teach students how to understand the foundational concepts of literacy.
