When I think about the ultimate, cozy clsssroom environment for students, I think about comfort, color, flexibility and a variety of books for students to choose from. When you enter my classroom it is evident that children are comfortable, engaged and motivated to succeed. I instill perseverance, encourage their grit and reinforce their determination. . My students focus all of their attention on the book that they are engaged in, the lessons they are learning or the discussion they are participating in with their peers. Each year I purchase dozens of books, throw pillows, supplies and decorations, but, my students need more. If I could give them the world I would but even then it would t be enough.
