This project will help fund a brand new program for middle school gifted students in a district with a high rate of poverty. Our students deserve the opportunity to interact socially with new, engaging materials.
One of the greatest needs for middle-school gifted children is social-emotional connection. Fun logic and word games will help. The discussions that take place when they are relaxed and engaged in doing something with their hands are amazing. This group of children regularly attended class together when they were younger and activities such as these will allow them to continue to grow as strong community members.
