My students come from diverse population both socially and economically. Our school while it's a high poverty school is a high performing school. We are also in the process of becoming a California distinguished school. So while we have 43% of our students as English Language Learners and 20% are qualified for special education they manage to perform well in state standards exams because of motivation and wanting to learn.
