We are a Title 1 school. My classroom is made of of ELD students and SEL students. Many of them are visual learners and need explicit instruction. A document camera will help make this happen. This will allow them to visuals the curriculum and keep them engaged. It takes too much time to walk around to each individual student and show them something on a page. If I am using a document camera, I will be able to display the exact thing the students are working on. Our day is already jammed packed with curriculum mandates, and every minute is precious.
