My students are in the 6th grade. We are a math and science combo class. Each combo group is 2 hours split for math and science. The majority of the students are considered Title 1 students which means they come from low socio-economic status. They are of various ethnic groups. In the classroom they are enthusiastic and eager to learn. They are curious and inquisitive.
