I teach in an urban, low income, public school district in Pennsylvania. My 27 fourth grade students love science, Pennsylvania history, and anything about animals. My classroom includes students from Nepal who speak little English and are learning a whole new culture as well as language. I also have students with learning disabilities included in my classroom. My students reading ability ranges from Kindergarten to fifth grade! Our classroom library is desperately in need of lower level reading books and some high interest reading books.
