I work with pre-K students in an urban school in CA. 73% of my students are english language learners. Out of 30, 22 are classified as limited english proficient. 100% of my students qualify for a reduced/free school lunch.
Many of my students have never attended school before, for them school is a new and exciting experience. Students are beginning to form the academic foundations of knowledge that they will build upon as they progress through their academic careers. My students are eager and ready to learn.
In today's rapidly changing world, I feel that it is important that modern technology be a part of their learning experience. Our society is becoming more technologically proficient and as our world changes, students must be exposed to the latest technology within the classroom as soon as possible.
