My 1st graders are eager to learn. They are beginning to read, write, and count independently and take pride in their work. Many of my students did not attend Pre-K and came to class with limited language and academic skills, but still strive to do their best. The literacy and math centers will provide differentiated and extended learning experiences for all my students.
