I teach Reading Intervention and my students range from grades kindergarten through third grade. The students that come to me daily are students that struggle in the areas of phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency. Therefore, their reading comprehension is limited. Most of my students have low self esteem, lack confidence and feel defeated when it comes to reading. The majority of my students are second language learners who depend almost entirely on the support of school for academic success.
