The majority of my students come from low income backgrounds and are English Language Learners, yet parents are always willing to volunteer their time to help their children gain a better education. Although parents volunteer their time, students sometimes need realia to help them grasp a better understanding of the topics being taught. This year my kindergarten group consists of 14 boys and 9 girls, so real animals to show life cycles will only enhance the learning for our enthusiastic group of learners. The students are eager to learn and ready to participate.
