I teach in a cooperative learning magnet in an Urban area. My students come from low socio-economic back-grounds. Despite their economic challenges they come to school daily and on time and are eager to learn. The children are always eager and excited about learning and working cooperatively with buddies, especially when they are working on the computer. My students ask many questions and are enthusiastic about finding the answers to their questions using the web and computers. They enjoy playing math games and literature games on the computer, playing the games serve as a reteaching and enrichment activities to support their learning. When the children are using the computer I see that they are fully engaged in their learning and they forget all about the problems that trouble their life.
