My class is an inner city 2nd grade class in Southern California. It is a nice neighborhood with many challenges. Most of my students are English language learners, and they are economically disadvantaged. But they are all bright students who love to learn and try their best. I know they love school because our class has the best attendance for our grade, and they tell me how much they love reading and math.
