My students are a diverse group of learners from a wide range of cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Some are English language learners, others have special education needs or are gifted, and many face challenges like poverty or trauma. They each bring unique strengths, stories, and learning styles to our classroom. I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where every child can thrive. I differentiate instruction, integrate social-emotional learning, and work hard to reflect students’ identities in the curriculum. Despite the obstacles they face, my students are curious, resilient, and eager to learn. With the right support and resources, they can accomplish anything.
