The students will benefit from these materials because they will have an opportunity to listen and role-play the stories they bring read to them. Their literacy skills will develop and give them the necessary kinder readiness skills needed. The students will enjoy following the text as the stories are being read to them. The students will expand their vocabulary and learn about story elements. The students will also interact socially with their peers and collaborate in small group literacy instruction. The students will not only build their vocabulary but will also use that same vocabulary in their daily oral language.
