2 students will conceive and develop a 3-D game, using the Unity game development software, under the mentoring of a Portland High School graduate working in the local software development industry. The experience will fulfill the students capstone experience requirement for graduation, as well as give them a wonderful, truly real world experience, working with a local, industry professional. Through this relationship they'll be exposed to development philosophies (Agile), collaboration software (GIT), and different coding languages (Python, HTML, C#, among others). The computers will be used annually for students to develop software, of interest to them, with local professionals as mentors.
