My first grade students come from varied cultural, home languages, and socioeconomic backgrounds. The parents of my students want the best in education for their child. As their teacher I find invigorating ways to build upon my students' love of learning. I teach 26 first grade students full day (8:00-2:30) Monday through Friday. Therefore, I need to find creative ways to maintain their interests and attention for the end goal of them to grow as a learner.
