The most basic things a reading intervention teacher needs are ink and books! I really need a variety of leveled and sight word reading books for my youngest Kindergartener to my oldest 6th grade english learner student. I am confident that the non-fiction sight word books will engage and captivate my students in learning all of the most common sight words.
My students enjoy being recognized with a simple reading certificate. The ink that will be kindly donated will help me print colorful achievement awards, take-home reading material, and interactive table games. Parents are also motivated to work with their children at home when their child is being recognized with a beautiful certificate.
