I am a First grade teacher at Chapman Elementary in Gardena. I teach the SEI (Structured English Immersion) class. My class is composed of 12 energetic boys and 10 girls. Our school is a Title 1 and Distinguished School. Unfortuantely, we are suffering from limited resources that are greatly beneficial to our students. Technology is our new world. The more students are exposed to, the greater minds we can create.
My Students:
My students would greatly benefit from a standing portable projector screen in their classroom. I will be able to amplify and expose my students to a variety of visuals such as pictures and realia that help students learn using the screen. I wont have to be writing and erasing every 5 problems on the board to make room for the next problems to solve. It will help increase their knowledge and make connections to what they already know. Inquiring minds that want to learn!
