My journalism students, who attend a small, inner-city school, have a challenge, and they are facing it head-on. We are struggling, due to budget cuts, with getting the news out to our community. The students have been entrusted with a project to increase readership in the next semester. One plan to accomplish this, which THEY have developed, is to begin sharing clips of school news with students through broadcasts shared throughout the school and on the Internet.
