My students are 99% Hispanic. They come from low income families. Most students are below grade level. I have seen their backpacks with notebooks and folders shoved in them. The papers are wrinkled. I feel organization can help them be successful. We are a school in LAUSD; because of budget cuts, supplies are scarce.
