Unlocking the creative expression of young children through storytelling. The kindergarten children in my classroom always enjoy a good story, rather it be through the use of a book or photographs. Many of these low-income students have to rely on their imagination to give life to words that really have no image in their heads. Their limited background experience has not allowed them to formulation many accurate pictures in their mind.
