My students are a wonderful group of bright, verbal, and energetic minds eager to learn more about their world and the world beyond their own neighborhood. They attend a school in the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles, California and all qualify for free and reduced lunch. Many of my students have little or no access to computers in their homes, so the classroom is their link to this amazing learning tool. They are a highly motivated group, eager to read, research and explore grade level topics both individually and in small groups. They enjoy movement and music and creating original plays about community heroes. I want to tap into their enthusiasm as fully as possible and broaden their learning world through the sights and especially the sounds of technology.
