My students are a diverse bunch eager to learn and enthusiastic to step into the classroom.
They come from different backgrounds in a low socio-economic community where many of them arrive at 7:00 in the morning and do not leave until 6:30 in the evening. When they step into my classroom, I want them to forget their worries and focus on their studies.
