My students are loving, caring and awesome in every sense of the words. Each of my students is a unique individual. They are all willing and eager to learn on a daily basis. The teacher and assistants in our classroom are an integral part of their daily lives. We provide the role of being a school parent on a daily basis and believe that doing our best for our students is of the utmost importance in their educational growth and socialization skills. Our school is in a high poverty location and unemployment is very high in the area making it difficult for the parents to provide supplies necessary for their children's daily educational needs. The class consists of 5th through 8th grade students and each of them is in a low-incidence self-contained setting. The school is an awesome safe haven for our students and many wonderful opportunities are provided for each them during the school day.
