My first grade students are active and enthusiastic learners. They attend a Title One school in a low income area in So. Cal and all the students receive free meals. The majority of my students are English Language Learners. Some of the students face many obstacles in their daily lives. Nonetheless, they come to school eager and excited to learn. They love to talk, sing, dance, and are fond of cooperative group activities.
