My students are mostly English Learners that come from a low income, immigrant family. Although these families value education, many parents must work instead of attending school events. Our entire school qualifies for free lunch. In addition, some students receive free uniforms, food baskets, and shoes. I also have special education students, with an individualized education program, that are being main streamed in to class.
